"And I'd rather fancy you telling me your name," Brett said in an over exaggerated British accent. "Ehh, I'm better at my country accent," She said, in her country accent, with a grin.
" And you don't have a life? Hah, I probably have even less of one that you have," Brett said. "I have like, nothing on to do list," She said, with a shrug of her shoulders. Now that I think of it, I really do need a hobby or something, Brett thought, realizing she had quit all of her past years activites. Oh, well. I'm sure I'll find something to do, Brett thought to herself, shaking her bangs out of her eyes.

Callum grinned mischeiviously.
"Or maybe I'll keep you in suspence by not telling you..." he smirked, wondering if she was going to get mad at him for not telling.
"Well then, aren't we a pair," he chuckled. "A pair of hobbyless people."

Brett grinned. "We should start a club for hobbyless people who have no life," She said, with a teasing tone. Four girls were sitting up a lemonade stand nearby, and Brett turned to Mystery Boy and said, "Lemonade! We should get some!" In a happily excited tone.
Brett loved little things like lemonade stands, and whenever she got the chance she usually got some. "Wonder how much it is..." Brett said, digging in her jeans' pocket for some spare change.

Callum threw back his head and laughed. Laughed! It's a miracle!
Brett pointed out a lemonade stand that was being put up by a couple little girls, pondering aloud about the price.
"It can't be much, if it's run by little kids," he chuckled, getting to his feet. "Come on. I'll pay for the both of us. I've got nothing else to spend my baby-sitting money on."

"Babysitting? Do you have a little brother or sister or something?" Brett asked, standing up. She watched the little girls set up the stand, and remembered the time she tried to have a lemonade stand. "I remember when I was like six, I thought I would be rich if I made a lemonade stand. By the end of the day I'd only earned like five dollars," She said, with a laugh.
She waited for the girls to put their table up, and set the supplies on the table before walking over. Brett bent down to the girls' height and asked for two cups of lemonade, and smiled at the girls. Normally, she didn't have much patience with kids, but today she felt...different.

"A little baby half-brother, AKA satan's child," he sighed, rolling his eyes. He loved his half-brother, but hated his step mother and father. It wasn't the little baby's fault he was brought into the world, so why hold it against him?
He leant down to the girls' height and asked politely for two cups of lemonade. The girls giggled, nodding as they put them together. He was rather okay with children, ages ten and under. Above that, he avoided them as much as possible.
The girl's gave him the lemonades and he gave them the money. Handing Brett a glass, he turned, and with a goofy grin, placed an extra 50 cents each infront of each of the little girls. "Tip." Then he led Brett back to the tree.

"Awww, they like you!" Brett chirped, after they settled back under the tree. The girls were giggling and kept stealing glances at Callum. Brett found that hilarious, and couldn't stop laughing. "You should give them a flower," Brett said, in between laughs. "I bet they'd die happy."
Brett took a drink of the lemonade, and tried not to make a face. It was a little sour, and needed a bit of sugar. But she wasn't going to complain, it just felt good to have a little fun, and escape the roomate from hell.

Callum laughed, winking at the giggling girls. They giggled even more and looked away.
"Heh... I've got my own fan club," he joked, taking a sip of his lemonade. It was a bit sour, but the sight around him made up for it. "Hmm. I'll have to pick them one on my way out of here.."
Callum took his camera and snapped a picture of the giggling girls. Without looking back at Brett, Callum laughed.
"It's Callum, by the way."

"Aaah, the mystery boy has a name. I was beginning to worry," Brett said with a grin. "Though Mystery Boy has a nice ring to it, I must admit," Brett said, laughing. She hadn't laughed that much in...forever.
Brett took a final drink of her lemonade and said "That was a bit sour, eh? But it was still pretty good for little kids to make it. I wish I had a little sister or something. My older siblings don't really talk to me anymore. Guess they got fed up with me and the lovely effects of being a teenager," Brett said, with a cherry grin.

Callum smirked.
"Feel free to continue calling me Mystery Boy. Callum isn't very extrodinary, I have to admit. My mother had horrible taste in names, I think," he said, looking out around the park, avoiding Brett's eyes. He didn't want her to notice how he felt about his mother; the mother he never got to meet.
He hummed the faint tune of his favorite song, The Black Parade by My Chemical Romance.
"Hey, I just noticed I never really asked about you. Tell me about yourself."

"My dad named me after a boy, if that tells you anything," Brett said, with a roll of her eyes. She had always hated her name, and sometimes went by her middle name, Hannah, because it sounded more girly. "And be warned, Mystery boy-slash-Callum, my personal history isn't very interesting," Brett said, with a grin.
"Well, I was born in Texas, and that's where my dad named me Brett, and my mom died right after I was born, so I never got to meet her. My older sister Steph was like a mom figure to me, so I guess I was lucky that way. I have another sister, Laney, and two brothers, Alex and Danny. They were always protective of me and stuff. After ten years, we moved to Kentucky to live closer to my grandparents. Since I was the youngest, and everyone else was moving out my dad had to do something with me, so he sent me up here in Connecticut for boarding school. Fourtuneatly, I was able to ditch my country accent," She added the last part with a grin. "Now, tell me about yourself, mystery boy."

Callum was slightly surprised at Brett's mom situation. It was almost identical to his. Lucky.
"Well, my mom and my dad were very, very in love, and wanted to have children. Finally, after many tries, my mother fell pregnant. But she lost the child, and was devistated. Something must've happened, because when she fell pregnant with me, she ended up dieing during child birth. It was her or me, and she chose me. Stupid decision on her part, because it's not like I'm wanted at home anymore. My dad got remarried a while later, and had a child with the b.itch. The kid is fine, but I hate my father and Tracy." He refused to call her mom, as much as she pleaded.

"So that's how you wound up here? No wonder you call it Satan's kid," Brett commented. Figuring he was going to want to change the subject, and since she sort of did too, she said "Do you have any pets or anything?" God, that question was retarted, Brett thought.
"I wonder if we have any classes together..." Brett said, thinking aloud. She really hoped they were in a few, so she would have someone to talk to, and ignore the teachers. But then again, she ignored the teachers anyway...

Callum shook his head.
"I used to have a puppy named Lucy, but when my step-mom moved in, she made us get rid of her because she hates dogs. It was infuriating," he said, but he didn't want to sound like some emotional idiot, so he put on a fake half-smile.
"Ooh, I hope we do. You are probably one of the only people who talk to me. I don't even think the teachers do," he laughed, rolling his eyes. It was true. He was basicly a wall flower, and when he wasn't, he was being teased or bullied. Luckily, he was on the good side of most of the really mean out-casts.

"The teachers just yell at me. Usually sounds somethings like 'Brett you better pay attention or you will fail! Fail I tell you! Are you even listening to me? Brett Hansen listen to me right now before I send you to detention!' And then I usually get detention," Brett said, doing her best impression of a teacher.
"I have this weird craving for a snowcone. That was random," Brett said, as a butterfly landed on her nose. Brett was careful not to move, as she waited for the pretty butterfly to fly off. She loved butterflies, and had never actually had one land on her before. Brett thought for sure she was going to go cross eyed looking at the thing.
