Callum grinned.
"Your bringing out a lot of hidden talents in me. First kissing, now dancing," he chuckled softly, moving closer to her. He couldn't help it; She was irrisistable.
She hummed a tune, but then stopped, probably prefering the silence over music.
"You're not too bad yourself. I take it you've done it before?"

"Uh huh. Just at weddings and stuff. I always wound up dancing with my brother, cause I'm just pathetic like that," Brett said, recalling dancing at friend's and family's weddings with her older brother. "And I take it you've never really danced?" She asked, with a grin.
In the background, she could hear crickets chirping, reminding her of when she was little, and would try to catch them. Around the two, fireflies glowed in the silvery moonlight, looking eeiry, but beautiful at the same time.

Callum smiled.
"I'd hate to be the guy who's to scared to ask you to dance, because that's the only reason a guy wouldn't dance with you, in my opinion.." he said. It was a complement, but really hard to comprehend. Oh well. He ment it.
"No, I've never danced with a girl before, or a guy, for that matter. I'm far, far too... I don't know... Uncool?" he said. "I'm lucky you met me before you saw me at school. At school, I'm the pathetic emo boy who everyone supposes is gay or something." It was true. People had called him gay before. He wasn't even sure if it was untrue or not.
Maybe I'm bi... he thought, but the fireflys around him distracted him from thinking thoughts like those. He fought the temptation to grab his camera and take a picture of them, not wanting to ruin the moment.

Brett grinned, when she saw Callum looking like he wanted to take a picture. "Go on, take a picture," She said, smiling. "'Sides, I need to sit down, my feet hurt," She said, taking her seat on the grass again.
Brett took a firefly into her hands, and watched as it light up her cupped hands. She probably looked silly, but she didn't care. She loved acting like a little kid again, and she didn't think that Callum minded. After a moment she let the firefly go, and Brett just listened to the crickets chirp.

Callum grinned, nodding as he stepped back and reached into his bag which was sitting on the ground nearby. Pulling his camera out, he snapped a bunch of silent pictures of the fireflies flying about.
Turning to Brett, he took a picture of her holding a firefly, and took one as she let go, the firefly lighting up her face. It was a really good picture, mainly because beautiful Brett was in it. He sat down across from her, putting his camera back in his bag, and just watched her. It was an activity all it's own, gazing at Brett like a love-sick puppy.

"Wanna go sit on the swings and act like immature seven year olds?" Brett asked, a lopsided grin on her face. She was having the most fun on a date she'd ever had, and she didn't want the night to end just yet.
Brett looked at Callum, hoping he'd want to go site on the swings. She hadn't been on a swingset since she was ten, but she didn't care. She just wanted to have some fun.

Callum grinned from ear to ear.
"Oh, totally! Who doesn't enjoy acting like immature children?" he laughed, and they ran over to the swings. Callum hopped on one, and began to swing higher and higher.
"How high can you go?" he called as he swung ultra high.

"Well, considering I almost killed myself by going over the bar once, I would say pretty damn high," Brett said, with a grin. After the words were out of her mouth, she realized how that might've sounded if she were anywhere else, so she started to giggle.
After a few miutes, she was already pretty high. Normally it took her a lot longer, but she was in a mini competition with Callum, and she wanted to try to get higher than he was, and she thought she could, if she tried hard enough.

"Well, don't kill your self, then!" he called as he went higher and higher, then decided to be really immature. He remembered doing this really stupid think on the swings when he was young, and decided to do it again.
"Hey! Watch this!" he called out, before going up in the air and letting go, jumping off the high swing as he swung high, and landed on his hands and knees in the sand. It hurt, but only a little, Turning over and sitting on his butt, he grinned up at Brett. "It's a stupid trick, but fun."
