Sitting on the small sofa in the television room Mark finally turned the show he had been watching off. It was a typical night, I guess, for him. Just watching TV and pigging out on junk food... well, he needed to get to the pigging out part. With a sigh, he rose from the couch and made his way back to his dorm room, which he shared with Sev. When he opened the door, he found that no one was there, and then, out of the corner of his eye he saw movement. One of the other guys had grabbed butter, and was headed for the door. Curious, he turned and followed. There he saw Sev, and a bunch of girls, including his sister.
He walked up behind them, and making his way to the front so he was standing next to Sev he glared at his sister. Then, he crossed his arms over his bare chest, which he now realized he was only in a pair of gym shorts, but it was not in the intimidating way. No, it was in the amused way for he still had no idea why there was butter. Then he spoke, his deep tenor voice strong and slightly joking. "Why, may I ask are you giving my sister and a bunch of girls butter?" He grinned, as he noticed there were quite a few good looking girls standing in front of him.

"Because we're doing an ultra secret mission for the CIA," Lorey said, her voice dripping with sarcasm. She didn't know who this other guy was, and she didn't quite like him either. After looking at him for a moment, she realized he looked a lot like Marie. Not dwelling on it, she opened the butter just to make sure it wasn't infested with roaches or anything.
"Is this expired or anything?" Lorey asked, inspecting the butter. She was big on expiration dates; if something was just a day old, she refused to eat it, saying that with her luck, she'd get food poisoning and die.

Marie groaned when her brother came into view. He asked why the guys were giving them butter, and Marie walked closer to her brother, glaring at him. After Lorena answered, Marie spoke.
"Oh, screw off. Just because you can't get a decent banging from a girl without her being drugged or intoxiated, doesn't mean you have to pick on your poor little sister," she put on her best pouty face, poking him hard in the chest. "Put a shirt on. You're not as sexy as you think you are."

"Hmm..." Toni affected a mock thinking stance, "How sexy does he think he is?"
She took the butter that Lorena was currently holding at arms length. "Nah, it's good until next Wednesday." Phew. Toni had had a few too many experiences with expired dairy goods- too often she dumped the milk over her cereal before checking it.
"Movie night without butter..." she mock-shuddered.

Marie giggled.
"He thinks he's too sexy for his shirt, too sexy for his shirt, so sexy it hurts," she sang, making fun of him, before making 'so sexy it hurts' a true fact by stomping hard on his bare foot.
"Good. We've got the butter. Now we can leave these losers to imagine Tinsley naked or something perverted like that."
"Or in Sev's case, imagin Lorey naked.." she added, before stepping away so that she wouldn't be pounded. But knowing she would, she hid behind her brother.

"Oooh, remember rating how hot they guys were in the locker room?" Lorey said, winking at the girls so they knew to play along. They really hadn't rated the guys, but hey, it was sure fun to pretend, and see what the guys would do. "That was sure fun, wasn't it?" Lorey asked, hoping the girls knew how to act.
"Oh yes, and the best kisser award," Lorey said, really getting into her new role. Heck, she wasn't called a drama queen for nothing. Plus, her sisters had always been into the whole Hollywood-acting thing, so Lorey had taken a few lessons in her life. Boy, those sure had come in handy a few times in her life...
Lorey had been lost in her own little world, when Marie mentioned Lorey. "WHAT?!?!" She screeched, ready to claw Marie's eyes out. Lorey had a slight temper, and when Marie said, that Lorey was quite literally about to tackle Marie. "IFYOUJUSTSAIDWHATITHOUGHTYOUJUSTSAIDYOUAREDEAD,MARIEKLIEN!MARKMYFREAKINGWORDS!" Lorey screamed, taking fast, while the other girls were attemoting holding her back, so she wouldn't pound Marie.

As the first girl spoke, Mark noticed how close she was to Sev, and guessed that this was the all too famous Lorena Victoria. Well, his roomie did have good taste because if she hadnt been taken he probably would have started flirting with her right away. Then, his annoying, and rude, sister began to talk, and when she poked him in his chest and sang he scowled at her.
"Bug off Marie." He pushed her hand softly away and then noticed another girl in the back of the Billings bunch. For some reason she caught his eye, and he stared at her for a moment. Then she spoke, and he was slightly offended. Then, the smirk returned to his face as he saw the girl take the butter from Lorey. "I wouldnt eat that. Most of the guys here spread that butter with their fingers, and who knows where those have been." A few of the guys behind him either laughed or nodded jokingly in agreement. Then he flashed a smile towards the girl with the shorter hair holding the butter making sure none of the guys could see, but all of the girls, besides his sister could. When he saw the other girls holding Lorey back from Marie he chuckled. "Let her go. Marie needs to watch what she says, and this is a perfect way to show her what happens when she doesnt."

Marie knew she was in trouble, so she hid more behind her brother, not making eye contact.
"He isn't even that good looking! Don't kill me! I'm too young to die!" she cried, exagerating.

Toni winced, "Ugh, gross! Sounds worse than if it had expired!"
It was true- she really had no desire to know where most of those guys' hands had been. That would probably put her off the popcorn, let alone the butter.
She had to laugh at Marie's attempt at hiding from Lorey. If only the poor girl would stop denying things and get together with Sev! Then, the world might work.
"Marie! What are you saying! You've lived long enough to expose the truth- what more can you need from life!" she laughed.

Marie giggled, looking over Mark's shoulder at Lorey and Sev.
"It has been long enough. They should know it already. They make a cute couple." She lifted Mark's arm and looked out from under it, using it as a sheild, just in case Lorena decided to strike. "Is it safe to come out yet?"
She eyed the butter.
"Err... Let's just eat chips or something.. I think I can do without popcorn covered in... god knows what."

Toni sighed. "Well, that's the way the cookie crumbles, I guess."
Suddenly, she felt like smacking herself, "Unless any of us have butter?"

As soon as Marie stepped behind him, Mark let out an exasperated sigh. She was always willing to do or say something stupid, and then she always came and made him clean it up. This time was a bit different. He was just acting as a shiled for her. But what could he do? She was his little sister, and he was not going to let anything hurt her. Not even an angry girl. Then he felt his arm lift up as a barrier and he choked back a laugh at how idiotic he felt, and how stupid Marie looked.
"So, first I go from being a pokable "thinks he's sexy" guy to being a shield. What next? The Easter Bunny?" He then waited patiently for a moment, and pulled his arm away back down to his side. He felt himself glance towards the other girl, and then spoke. "So, I feel really stupid because I dont know all of you names. Im guessing that that overly angry girl is Lorena, and this... mayeb Tinsley's roomie. The drama girl. Antonia?" He had seen her before, but he liked the view closer up.

"Yes, O Easter Bunny, I am the Drama Girl." Toni said, stretching each syllable. "Yes, I am the unfortunate one who is forced to room with Tinsley."
"But," she said, voice dangerously pleasant, "I am not Antonia. I am Toni, thank you vey much."
She knew she was being a little harsh- she explained her preference as part of her introduction, after all. 'Call me Toni if you don't want to see your dead grandma' or saomething along those lines. He had no way of knowing.
It was just a bit off-putting to hear him using the name she hated in such a blase voice. The name that reminded her of those bigots. 'Of course, you're Antonia. John and Alice's little girl. And how are your parents today?' or some such thing.
She had to stop herself from grinding her teeth; hopefully, Marie's brother wouldn't take her words the wrong way. She just happened to hate her given name with a passion she reserved for Tinsley.
"And you are...?" she asked, realizing that he hadn't mentioned his own name.

He laughed as he called him the Easter Bunny, and smiled warmly at the little joke. And when she spoke about Tinsley a small laugh escaped his lips, and he couldnt help but think about how bitchy that girl was. Not to him, no. He was too popular to be mean to, but he had seen her act rude to everyone else, so he never went too near her.
When he heard he was right a tiny smirk played across his features, at least until she basically threatened him with her overly polite tone. His smirk did not fade though, but got bigger as he held up his hands in surrender. Then he spoke when she asked his name. "Im Mark Klein. Marie's brother and protection mechanism." He smiled again, this time a bit too cocky to be warm. It was a flirtatious smile, as it seemed Toni had caught his special attention.
