Sev was going to continue the convorsation, but he decided to pay attention to the game. The poor girl cracked a joke about not kissing a toad in hope of it becoming a prince. He laughed, as well as quite a few other people, and waited for the next person to go. When she was done, Sev decided to go talk to her. It wouldn't hurt to meet someone new, would it?
"Hey, I'm Sevastien. But you can call me Sev," he introduced himself once he got over to her. The game was still going on around them, but he didn't much care. He stuck out his hand for her to shake.

Toni grinned, shaking the offered hand. "Hi, Sev. I'm Antonia- but if you like your head attached to your shoulders, call me Toni." She winked, letting him know that she was kidding. Sort of. She really did hate being called by her entire first name, not least because that was what her parents had named her. She was not Antonia, as somebody else named her, but Toni, which she named herself.
"So..." she drew out the word, "Come to these parties often? I wouldn't have come, but that bitch," she indicated Tinsley, "is my roommate, and I wanted to be able to sleep without fear for my life. She gets a little too 'offended' when I try and snub her." She rolled her eyes. For some reason, probably her own popularity, Tinsley decided that she was- how did she put it?- 'worthy of her acquaintance.' Ugh.

Sev smiled.
"Ah, another threatening girl. Just what I need. My friend, Lorena, she's always threatening me. But she looovvveesss meee anyway," he said the last part in a childish voice.
"Ooh, you were the unlucky girl stuck bunking with Tins? Wow, that sucks. Don't let her get to you. If she does anything too extreme, just tell me. I can get my pals to do something. Not sure what, but something to talk some sense into the poor girl," he chuckled, looking over at Tinsley as she picked on some more unfortionate party-goers.
"Yeah, I go to these partys a lot. It is probably one of the only ways to stay popular, y'know what I mean? That, and all my buds insist I go and try to hook up with her. But.... I've got my eye on someone else..." And with that, he snuck a quick little glance at Lorey, sitting with Alexis and talking. So beautiful.... Grrr...

Toni shook her head, "I appreciate the offer, but I'm not sure that she has any reserves of sense to have knocked into her."
She winced, "Besides, what's more extreme than dying my favorite sweater blue with a ballpoint pen?" It had happened a week ago, but she was still rather sore about it. It was a nice, cream-colored sweater! And now, it had a blue stain on it the shape of Africa!
"That was because I didn't come to her last party. I think she thinks that having me here makes her look better, or something." She rolled her eyes, "Your buds are crazy. The only excuse for hooking up with her is breaking her heart- but that plan fails in that she doesn't have a heart to break."
Noticing Sev's blush in Lorey's direction, she smirked. She hadn't known Lorey very long- she'd just met her at the Billings movie night. But she thought there was a definite spark there...
"So," she asked, a little too casually, "known Lorey long?"

Sev nodded, chuckling.
"True true.."
Then he found himself blushing.
"Er... Yeah... My whole life, really... Our parents are friends, and.... well... I really like her... But she can't seriously be interested in me. I mean, look at her! She's heaven in female form. And I'm just some idiotic smoking jock who can't live up to his family's reputation. It's a lost cause, liking her. But I can't help it," he vented, looking up at her with sadness. He didn't know why he was telling all this to a girl he only just met when he couldn't even tell his own friends, but she just seemed like a good listener and secret-keeper.

Toni raised an eyebrow, "That's negative."
She shrugged, "You don't look like a lost cause to me- or, I bet, to her. You seem like a nice guy who's made a few bad decisions- so what if you smoke." Toni surprised herself with that- she usually was pretty harsh on smokers.
"And if she's known you for that long, she knows that there's more to you than the 'smoking jock.' You wouldn't still be friends even, if that was all she thought about."
She tried to keep her voice quiet, but her words took on a distinct heat- "And so what if your family can't accept who you are! I spend half of my life lying to my parents, because I've given up on arguing with them. Hell!" she said, throwing caution to the winds, "I don't know if you've met my brother, but he's gay. My parent are homophobes. He's open with everybody else but them- they don't matter!"
She realized that she was coming on a bit too strong with her own problems, and said, "Don't you see? You've got time to deal with the other shit. Lorey cares about you- you might be too blind to notice, but she does. Why do you think we all tease her about you? It's not because she's just your old friend."
She took a deep breath. Hopefully, some of what she said would sink in. Most friends of hers came to her for confidential advice- usually they took it. She hoped Sev would.

Sev nodded, smiling understandingly.
"You're right." He turned and looked back at Lorey, before turning back to Toni and wrapping her in a big hug, actually lifting her up off the ground, before putting her back down. "Thanks! We'll have to talk again some time. But for now, I've gotta go talk to Lorey," he grinned cheekily, speeding off to go chat with Lorena.

Lorey was pretty sure she was drunk. Because A) She had no sense of what she was doing, and B) She had no clue how much alchahol was in the drink she had just finished. The good thing was that she wouldn't remember the horrible night she was having, but the bad part was that when her mind was drunk, her heart was sober, so when she was drunk, she usually said things she normally wouldn't.
Lorey leaned against the side of the roof. She had a massive headache, and felt like slamming her head on the concrete. But since she was a good girl (coughcoughcough) she wasn't going to do that. Instead, she would bitch out whoever came her way. With a sigh, Lorey took another drink out of whatever it was -vodka possibly?- and waited for the night to be over.

Sev searched around for Lorey, soon spotting her by the side of the roof. He stumbled over to her, leaning infront of her.
"Lorey, we need to talk," he said quietly, looking her in the eyes. She looked drunk, but he couldn't tell for sure.

"Oh, but we are talking," Lorey said, pulling her sweaty hair off her neck for a moment. In the background, she could hear two girls in a catfight, and wondered what it was about. Lorey took another drink of the nasty tasting stuff; she had surprisingly gotten used to it, though it still burned a little bit.
Lorey shifted her weight to her other foot, and started chewing a ragged nail. "So...whatcha wanna talk about?" She asked cheerfully, tapping her foot on the ground. In the back of her mind, something was telling her that she was going to be soon spending the rest of the night in the bathroom, puking.

Sev chuckled lightly, but then went back to being serious.
"Lorey, I really, really like you, and...." he turned slightly so that he didn't have to look her in the eye. "I want you to be my girlfriend again..... please?"

Everything that he had just said took a moment before it registered to Lorey. Partly becase she was drunk, and also because it was a major shock. "Well, ever since we broke, I've still liked you, and have like loved your forever, and I don't know why you never noticed me staring at you, and I have no clue what I'm saying, and I don't feel so good," Lorey blurted, trying to keep from doing something crazy just to see whether she was in a dream, or if this night was real.
"Quick question before I get sick; am I dreaming?" Lorey asked, pinching herself. "Ow," She said, with a grin.

Sev grinned, but it turned into a sympathetic smile when he found that she was about to be sick.
"No, your not dreaming. At least, I hope your not. It would really suck if I had to pucker up the courage to do that a second time," he laughed, putting a hand around her waist and pulling her towards the door. "Should I take you to the bathroom? You look like you're gonna hurl."

"Yes please. But don't push me down the stairs. Tinsley did that last week, and I don't plan on that happening again any time soon..." Lorey said, hoping she wasn't going to upchuck all over her boyfriend. That had happend to her before, and let's just say neither her or her ex boyfriend were too happy about that...
"The music is too loud..." Lorey groaned, wincing at the loud noise. She already was getting the signs of a hangover, and she figured she was going to spend the next day hiding about in her room...

Sev laughed.
"Oh, yeah, because I want to push the girl of my dreams down the stairs? Suuurrreeee."
Once at the bottom of the stairs, he led her to the girls washroom, pausing.
"Er.. You think you'll be okay going in on your own? I'm pretty sure nobody would appreciate me going in as well," he laughed.
